Dale Junior Dominates Busch

July 6th, 2006

Dale Earnhardt Junior taught the everyday racers and the Busch wackers a lesson about Daytona last Friday night. He taught them that Big Bill France may have built the track but the Earnhardts still own it.

The Pepsi 400

July 6th, 2006

We thought we had a chance. Dale qualified slow but Earnhardts don’t come to qualify they come to win. We were moving up through the field slow but steady. Late in the race we looked ready. Then we just seemed to run out of car. A 13th finish. Not bad, unless you are an Earnhardt at Daytona. Oh,well there is always next week and Chicago.

Congratulations to Tony Stewart.

Points

July 6th, 2006

We finished 13th at Daytona but moved up two spots to third place in the points standings. How does that work?

Power rankings

July 6th, 2006

Did anyone see that Dale Junior dropped 5 spots in NASCAR.com’s power rankings this week? We didn’t do great at The Pepsi but 5 spots? We are now ranked 15th. that’s an insult to Dale Junior and The whole Earnhardt Nation. It seems more and more NASCAR is going out of it’s way to disrespect their biggest star. Maybe we should pick a race stay home and let’s see how they like half full tracks.

Chicagoland Is Ours

July 7th, 2006

I have read this week  how great Jimmie Johnson is. I have read this week about how good Matt Kenseth runs in Chicago. I am tired of it. Dale Earnhardt Junior is the defending Chicagoland champ. Junior is greatness. His past record at 1.5 mile tracks has been less than stellar. But that is the past. We thought last year when he made a two tire stop at the end then kept away from Kenseth long enough to see checkered first would have quieted some of his mid track critics. But they are never happy. I saw written that he averaged in last years race 10 th place. Averaged TENTH PLACE! Who cares? It’s not a batting average it’s a race. He won. We won. I remember watching the red Earnhardt Nation stand and cheer as he took the black and white checkered flag.

If you don’t remember find a television, find the channel and on Sunday Dale Junior will remind you.

I will say it one more time. This is our year. This is our time. The Earnhardts will get their eighth championship cup.

Legacy: Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr.

Top Five Finish in Chicago

July 9th, 2006

Dale Junior finished 5th and held his third place standing in the points race. The Rainbow Hobbit wins by spinning Kenseth. That put him one career victory behind Dale Earnhardt Senior. Whatever you think of Gordon(I don't think much of him) the little dwarf can drive. The Earnardt Nation might not like what Gordon did to Kenseth but we better think back to what The Intimidator would have done in the same situation. I think we all know he would have hit Kenseth in the ass and not let off the gas. So hate Gordon, like I do, but respect him. He won today, but it's a long long way to Homestead.
