Jimmie Johnson is not to Blame

I at first was mad at Jimmie Johnson too. Lap after lap he worked with Dale Jr at Daytona’s Coke Zero 400.  When Johnson had pit row problems Earnhardt stuck with him. It looked like again the 88 – 48 tandem would be there at the end. Then with a green, white, checkered coming Johnson pitted without Dale Jr. I was furious. I cussed the TV. Yelling profanity at the 48. My dog ran for cover I was so loud. Then I realized it was not Jimmie’s fault. It was Chad Knaus’ fault. He called for Johnson to pit. When push came to shove he showed why his driver is called “Five Time”. It’s because, loyalty and team mates be damned, he will always do what’s in the best interest of his driver.

Who cares if the 48 team owed Junior. The 48 team surely doesn’t.

Don’t blame the puppet blame the master.
